Our Founder's Story

Maryann Tsai, the visionary behind Reach Her Inc., is a passionate advocate for empowering women and fostering inclusive communities. Her journey is one of resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for others.

Born to migrant parents, Maryann's parents experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating cultural and systemic barriers. These experiences shaped her understanding of the struggles many women face, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Armed with this insight and a deep desire to make a difference, Maryann channeled her energy into creating a supportive platform for women to overcome these barriers and thrive. In 2022, she founded Reach Her Inc., a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women through wellbeing and employment pathway programs. Under Maryann’s leadership, the organisation has supported many women, provided many hours of paid work opportunities, and launched transformative initiatives like the Reach Her Business School and EmpowerHer Mentorship Program.

As a TEDx speaker and bestselling author, Maryann continues to share her journey, advocating for gender equality and economic empowerment. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance, compassion, and the belief that every woman has the potential to succeed when given the right support.

Through Reach Her Inc., Maryann is building a legacy of empowerment, proving that when women rise, entire communities flourish.
